Zuckerberg's $225,000 Blue Watch Likely Linked to His Color Blindness

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg was recently seen wearing a De Bethune DB28xs Kind of Blue Tourbillon, a Swiss luxury watch priced at $225,000. The timepiece is notable for its striking cobalt-blue dial, achieved through thermal oxidation of grade 5 titanium at temperatures exceeding 700°C. Zuckerberg is known to have red-green color blindness, a condition that makes blue the only color he can perceive with full clarity. This same reason is widely believed to have influenced the blue branding of both Facebook and Meta. The watch's hue, therefore, may be more than an aesthetic choice for the tech billionaire.
