Caymus 'CO' Maxson, a 16-year-old from California, founded the youth-led nonprofit Trash Turtles after witnessing beach trash being pushed into the ocean at age 10. Over six years, the organization has conducted more than 50 beach cleanups, clearing debris across over 300 miles of coastline.
