LinkDigest reads top Xiaohongshu comments from share links without an account

0
·5 views

Xiaohongshu offers no public comments endpoint, and its web page only expands comments after login. The share link copied from the app opens a public page that embeds up to five top comments, each with up to three replies. The LinkDigest service reads these in the same request as the note, requiring no Xiaohongshu account or cookies. The approach is limited: it returns only top comments and reply excerpts, never the full thread or commenter identities. Douyin videos return no comments because their embed player serves none.

A Beginner's Guide to Reading Google Analytics Without Getting Overwhelmed

A digital marketer from Kerala offers a simplified introduction to Google Analytics for small business owners who find the tool intimidating. The free platform works like a camera inside a shop, revealing visitor counts, traffic origins, page views, and actions taken on a website. The article explains key terms such as users, sessions, traffic sources, engagement, and conversions in plain language. It recommends focusing on five core questions rather than every report, along with checking device type and visitor locations. A brief monthly review routine is suggested to track progress and choose one improvement for the following month.

Verifying Warranty Cards On-Chain: A Token-2022 Soulbound Receipt Checker

A repair-shop scenario illustrates the need to confirm whether a customer's warranty card is genuine without relying on screenshots or the holder's word. The article presents a verifier that checks a soulbound Token-2022 card using only public chain data, applying eight checks covering mint ownership, one-of-one supply, non-transferability, metadata location, issuing authority, warranty validity, order matching, and holder ownership. The verifier is a pure function over raw account data, making it reusable in servers, wallets, or agents. It returns every individual check result rather than a simple pass or fail, so staff can see exactly which requirement failed. The author notes the code is an unaudited, devnet-only educational example and that actual warranty decisions still depend on shop policy and consumer law.

Five Practical Ways to Improve Online Form Validation in JavaScript

A DEV Community article outlines five approaches developers can use to make web form validation more effective without adding needless complexity. It recommends using built-in HTML input types and the required attribute to handle basic checks before writing extra code. The piece also urges specific, actionable error messages so users know exactly what to correct. JavaScript can supplement HTML validation for additional checks, though the author stresses that client-side validation does not replace server-side validation. The article further advises making forms accessible through connected labels, clear instructions and visible focus indicators, and keeping forms short by removing unnecessary fields.
