Ukraine Strikes Siberian Refinery; Casualties Reported in Occupied Territories
Ukraine carried out a strike on a Siberian oil refinery as the conflict continued to escalate on multiple fronts. Russian-installed authorities in occupied Ukraine reported that a Ukrainian strike on a seaside tourist camp killed 12 people. One additional person was killed in a Moscow-held town, while two more deaths were reported in Russian border villages. The strikes mark continued Ukrainian offensive action deep into Russian-controlled territory. Meanwhile, Kazakhstan's president separately urged Vladimir Putin to bring the war to an end.
