Zcash co-founder proposes ending grants funding, citing $125 million treasury

Zcash co-founder Sean Bowe has proposed ending the grants committee's funding. Under the plan, the committee's 8% share of newly minted ZEC would instead go into a reserve for future miners. The committee would be allowed to keep the funds it has already received. The proposal cites the roughly $125 million currently held in the project's treasury as the reason for the change.
