Wrestler-turned-thrower Seema Kaliramna eyes Asian Games after CWG bronze

Indian athlete Seema Kaliramna made a remarkable return to competition just 11 months after giving birth to her son Rudra, having battled severe arthritis that left her unable to walk even short distances. Coached by her husband Ravinder, she gradually rebuilt her fitness and competitive form. Her throw distance improved from 57.19m in 2024 to a personal best of 59.73m this year, earning her a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games. She is now targeting the upcoming Asian Games as a stepping stone toward qualifying for the Olympics.
