Winfield-Hill's 99 and Kalis' 86* power Yorkshire to opening Blast victory

Yorkshire secured their first win of the Blast tournament after posting a commanding total of 211 runs. Linsey Smith's Winfield-Hill contributed 99 while Kalis remained unbeaten on 86, forming the backbone of Yorkshire's strong batting display. Somerset were set a challenging chase of 211 but ultimately fell short despite a valiant unbeaten century from Anika Learoyd. Learoyd's hundred, though impressive, was not enough to carry Somerset over the line as Yorkshire held on to claim the victory.
