DeepSeek's API and chat services were partially down for 4 hours and 52 minutes on October 15, according to its own status page. The incident affected the chat service and the V4 Pro and V4.1 Flash API models, with the company citing an unspecified shared fault. In response, DeepSeek will return each API account's spend from October 8 to 14 as bonus credit, applied automatically and used before top-up balance. The credit covers only what accounts paid, not losses from failed requests or downstream effects, and the company says it is reviewing service stability. Users were advised to check their balance pages for any expiry terms.
The article points out that the two AI coding CLIs use the same flags for different purposes, so a flag that works in one can misfire in the other. In Claude Code, -p runs a prompt and exits, while in Codex CLI it selects a config profile, and -c likewise means continue-last-session in one and config override in the other. The piece lays out 18 common tasks, such as one-shot prompts, stdin input, JSON output, and session resumption, with the equivalent command for each tool. It notes differences in output formats, with Claude returning a single JSON object and Codex streaming JSON Lines events, and in defaults, such as Codex's read-only sandbox for exec runs. The author says the commands reflect the official docs as of October 14, 2026, and that the docs take precedence where they disagree.
Tools like Claude Code and Codex create git worktrees and branches during parallel sessions, but they do not always clean them up. Leftover worktree folders, stale records, locks, and branches can accumulate over weeks, consuming disk space, holding ports, and keeping git objects alive. The article describes nine categories of such leftovers, pairing a read-only command that finds each one with a command that removes it. It advises reviewing what the delete commands would remove before running them, and notes that the examples assume a main branch named main and agent branches with specific prefixes.
A comparison of trading psychology software in 2026 examines Edgewonk, FX Replay, TradingView Replay, TradeMindful and Holdy Lab. The author, who works on Holdy Lab, says each tool was checked against its own pages on 15 October 2026 and notes where competitors are stronger. The piece argues that these products fall into different categories, such as trade journals, replay and backtesting tools, and behavior simulators, so buyers should match the tool to their goal. Edgewonk is presented as a journal linking discipline and mental state to real trades, while FX Replay and TradingView focus on practising strategies on historical data. Prices are noted as subject to change, and the article is framed as educational rather than financial advice.
