Vimal Elaichi Maker Challenges Delhi HC Over Food Body Notices to Brand Ambassadors

PB Agro, the maker of Vimal Elaichi, has approached the Delhi High Court in response to notices issued by a food regulatory body against three actors endorsing its cardamom product. The company stated that it hires well-known actors to promote the Vimal brand and has formal endorsement agreements in place with them. PB Agro asserted that its advertising campaign fully complies with all applicable laws and regulations. The legal move comes amid growing scrutiny of celebrity endorsements by food and consumer protection authorities in India.
