Bristol's £9.7m Harbour Walkway opens linking Temple Meads to university campus

Bristol City Council has completed a 400-metre floating Harbour Walkway at a final cost of £9.7 million, nearly four times its original £2.5 million estimate. The structure was initially planned to connect Temple Meads station to a new music arena. However, the arena project was relocated to Filton, changing the walkway's intended purpose. The completed path now links the station's new eastern entrance to the University of Bristol's £500 million campus.
