A woman from Telangana, Mohammed Mahamuda, travelled to Muscat, Oman, on July 16 after a local agent promised her domestic employment. She found herself stranded and in distress for approximately 25 days after the promised work did not materialise as expected. Her family reached out to BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) seeking help to secure her return. Following KTR's intervention, efforts were made to facilitate her safe return to Telangana. The case highlights ongoing concerns about fraudulent overseas employment agents targeting workers from the region.
