Dealer's delayed Kia Carnival delivery leads to Rs 2.33 lakh award to customer

A customer who ordered a Kia Carnival priced at around Rs 39 lakh suffered significant financial losses after the dealer failed to deliver the vehicle on time. The consumer commission held the dealer responsible for deficient service. Kia India was cleared of any liability in the matter. The dealer has been directed to refund the booking amount with interest, along with legal costs and compensation to the affected buyer. The total award amounts to Rs 2.33 lakh.

INS Sahyadri Arrives in Japan for Exercise Malabar 2026

The Indian Navy frigate INS Sahyadri has reached Yokosuka, Japan, to take part in Exercise Malabar 2026. The frigate had earlier completed bilateral drills with the Republic of Korea. Malabar will bring together naval forces from India, Japan, Australia, and the United States. The Indian Navy has also held a range of exercises with other partner nations since September, including France, the United Kingdom, and Russia.
