TMC's Mahua Moitra files police complaint against Chief Election Commissioner

TMC MP Mahua Moitra has lodged a police complaint against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, accusing him of manipulating voter rolls. Her complaint specifically targets alleged unauthorized changes made to Form 6, which governs voter registration. The move came a day after reports revealed that Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi had formally objected at least 14 times over 10 months to decisions linked to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. The complaint adds to growing tensions within the Election Commission over the conduct of the voter roll revision exercise.
