TMC Rebel MP Saayoni Ghosh Faces Hostile Protests During Baruipur Visit

Trinamool Congress rebel MP Saayoni Ghosh was met with angry protests and chants of 'traitor' and 'dishonest' when she visited Baruipur. The demonstrators were reacting to her recent departure from the TMC, with crowds labelling her a turncoat. Police initially prevented her delegation from entering the area before eventually permitting access under security escort. Ghosh stated that her visit was focused on demanding prompt justice for the victim and the victim's family. Several other political leaders also visited Baruipur to meet the victim's parents and express their solidarity.
