Three KSU Leaders Jailed After Shillong Statues Vandalised, Vehicles Torched

Three leaders of the Khasi Students' Union (KSU) have been sent to judicial custody following violent incidents in Shillong. The unrest broke out during a bike rally organised by the KSU on Wednesday. During the rally, statues of Swami Vivekananda and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose were vandalised. Several vehicles were also set on fire amid the violence. Authorities responded by arresting the KSU leaders in connection with the incidents.
