Three arrested in Jharkhand's Palamu for gangrape of 16-year-old girl

Police in Palamu district, Jharkhand, have arrested three men in connection with the gangrape of a 16-year-old girl. The assault occurred while the girl was travelling home in an e-rickshaw after going to meet her boyfriend. The boyfriend's family had reportedly arranged his marriage to another person, which prompted the trip. Arrests were made on October 31 based on the girl's statement, and the suspects, aged between 20 and 38, face charges under the BNS and the POCSO Act.
