Thousands of Migrants Remain in Ceuta After Mass Morocco Border Crossing

Thousands of migrants are still present in the Spanish territory of Ceuta following a major border crisis, according to the region's top official. The mayor-president of Ceuta revealed that approximately 78,000 migrants crossed into the territory from neighbouring Morocco. The official also reported that around 100 deaths were recorded in connection with the crossings. Ceuta, a Spanish enclave on the northern coast of Africa, has faced significant pressure managing the large influx of arrivals.
