A woman named Sunitadevi Singh allegedly strangled her husband to death using a cooker lid in Thane. The dispute reportedly arose over her husband's refusal to buy her sarees. Singh initially told police that her husband's death was accidental. However, a medical report later confirmed that the man had died due to violent asphyxia, contradicting her claim.
