Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Advocates Lowering Election Contest Age to 21

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has called for reducing the minimum age to contest elections from 25 to 21 years. He made the announcement while addressing a Gen Z solidarity rally held in Hyderabad. Reddy stated that a resolution to this effect would be forwarded to the Central Government. He also confirmed plans to personally meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to push for an amendment to the existing law.
