Teen inventor's hybrid kerosene-steam stove wins prize, cuts fuel use by 20%

Vyasji Mishra, a 16-year-old inventor, developed a hybrid stove that runs on a combination of kerosene and steam to reduce fuel consumption and harmful emissions. His prototype won first prize at a science fair in 2003, impressing judges with its innovative design. Testing of the device demonstrated a 20% reduction in kerosene usage compared to conventional stoves. The National Innovation Foundation recognized the potential of his invention and stepped in to support its further development and commercialization.
