Sukhbir Badal to Screen Film 'Satluj' on Post-1984 Sikh Persecution

Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal has announced plans to screen the film 'Satluj', describing it as a portrayal of suffering endured by the Sikh community. He stated the film depicts the painful period following the Congress-led military operation at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. According to Badal, the narrative covers the alleged killing of thousands of unarmed Sikh youth during that era. He said the film highlights what he called inhuman torture and sacrifice faced by the community during that turbulent period.
