Student builds virtual bookstore prototype using structured AI prompt engineering

A first-semester student and their group developed a Virtual Bookstore application designed to bridge the gap between physical and online inventory management, with PIX payment integration and automated email receipts. The student's role focused on prompt engineering using the Lovable AI tool, where initial generic prompts produced incomplete and vague results. Progress came when prompts were paired with diagrams and specific context, enabling the AI to generate wireframes, auction flows, and backend integration details. This approach revealed the project's tech stack: React with TypeScript on the frontend and Supabase on the backend.
