Sonam Wangchuk Ends Hunger Strike Despite Pradhan Remaining in Office

Climate activist and innovator Sonam Wangchuk recently concluded his hunger strike, which he had undertaken in solidarity with members of the CJP. The protest was centered on demands for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Wangchuk broke his fast even though Pradhan did not step down from his position. The activist has since explained his reasons for ending the strike without the key demand being met.
