Sonam Wangchuk Detained at Safdarjung Hours After Court Cleared Medanta Transfer

Climate activist and innovator Sonam Wangchuk was held at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi for several hours despite a Delhi High Court order permitting his transfer to Medanta Hospital. A video surfaced showing Wangchuk in a heated confrontation with hospital staff, during which he reportedly dared authorities to arrest him. Wangchuk alleged that officials deliberately prevented him from leaving even after the court's clearance. Safdarjung Hospital subsequently responded to the allegations surrounding the incident.
