A 41-year-old woman from Laxmi Nagar, Delhi, has alleged that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by an acquaintance named Deepak Bansal, a resident of Ganesh Nagar. According to police, Bansal had befriended the woman approximately two years ago and gained her trust by promising to help her find employment. He allegedly used the pretext of securing her a job to lure and assault her. Delhi Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
