Shiv Sena leader Rahul Gharat was arrested in connection with a disturbance at Relief Hospital in Palghar. The incident was triggered by allegations that the hospital was overcharging injured Govinda participants who were receiving treatment. Patients in the ICU reportedly had their IV lines removed by hospital staff during the confrontation. The injured Govindas accused the hospital of conducting unnecessary scans and extending ICU stays without justification. Local MLA Rajendra Gavit responded by demanding that an FIR be registered against the hospital's doctors.
