Shimla-Kalka Toy Train Route Disrupted After Bridge Foundation Erodes

A bridge on the historic Shimla-Kalka toy train line has lost its foundation due to soil slippage caused by heavy rainfall. The affected section lies between Koti and Gumman stations on the heritage rail route. The continuous rain undermined the ground beneath the structure, leaving the track exposed and vulnerable. The damage has disrupted operations on this UNESCO-recognised mountain railway line.
