Shabana Azmi Tests Positive for H1N1, Isolates While Following Protest Updates

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi has tested positive for H1N1 (swine flu) and is currently in isolation for five days. She is running a high fever of 102 degrees Fahrenheit amid her illness. Though unable to attend ongoing protests in person, she has stated she is staying updated through on-ground reports. Azmi expressed her solidarity with the demonstrations by sharing a poem written by her late father, Kaifi Azmi. She had been an active participant at the protest sites before falling ill.
