Delhi Police Double Wrong-Side Driving Fines in 2024, Over 3.4 Lakh Challans Issued

Delhi Police have significantly intensified their crackdown on wrong-side driving in the first half of 2024. A total of 3,42,381 challans were issued for the offence up to June 25, nearly double the 1,72,879 issued during the same period last year. This represents a 98% year-on-year increase in enforcement action. Alongside the fines, over 2,000 FIRs were registered against offenders within the six-month period.
