India's exports surge 25.4% in August, trimming trade deficit to $9.41bn

India's trade deficit narrowed to $9.41 billion in August 2026, driven by strong export growth. Overall exports rose 25.41% year-on-year to $82.68 billion, while imports climbed to $92.09 billion.
