Sikkim Releases Draft Electoral Roll Under SIR; 37,000 Names Removed

Sikkim has published its draft electoral roll as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, with over 37,000 names deleted from the list. The state currently has a total of 4,71,018 registered electors. Out of these, enumeration forms have been distributed to 4,69,679 electors, accounting for 99.72% of the total. So far, 4,33,294 forms have been digitised and verified, representing 91.99% of the electorate. However, forms from 37,724 electors, or 8.01% of the total, remain uncollectable.
