R Madhavan moved to Dubai to support son Vedant's swimming career during Covid

Bollywood actor R Madhavan has revealed that his relocation to Dubai was primarily motivated by his son Vedant's professional swimming career. The move came during the Covid-19 pandemic, when Vedant required consistent training and opportunities that the UAE could better provide. Madhavan also shared his observations about life in Dubai, describing what he called 'three Dubais' to characterize the city's diverse character. Despite living abroad, the actor emphasized that his connection with India remains strong. He also hinted at an upcoming business venture centered around South Indian filter coffee.
