Punjab HC Quashes Dismissal of DSP Present During Bishnoi's Jail Interview

The interview in question was conducted in September 2022 inside the Kharar police station in Mohali, where DSP Sandhu was reportedly present. Authorities had initiated a probe into the televised interviews of the jailed gangster, which led to disciplinary action against the officer. The High Court's ruling effectively reinstates the DSP, overturning the state government's earlier decision to dismiss him.
