Pralhad Joshi Takes Over Education Ministry After Dharmendra Pradhan Resigns

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi was assigned charge of India's Ministry of Education on Saturday. The change came after President Droupadi Murmu accepted the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan from the Union Council of Ministers. Pradhan's exit followed widespread student-led protests across the country over an alleged paper leak in the NEET examination. Joshi, a five-time Member of Parliament, now heads the education portfolio in addition to his existing ministerial responsibilities.
