PM Modi urges unity against divisive forces and self-reliance at Chinmaya event

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav Global Sammelan, a gathering linked to the legacy of Swami Chinmayananda. He noted that Swami Chinmayananda had shaped his goals around the challenges facing the country in his time, and that new challenges have arisen over the past few decades. Modi called for uniting society against divisive forces and inspiring citizens toward self-reliance. He also asked that every individual be connected to the vision of a developed India by 2047. He said more proactive efforts would be needed to achieve these objectives.
