PM Modi meets space startup leaders, pushes broader use of space technology

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with the chief executives of 20 space startups, encouraging them to expand the application of space technology for public benefit. India's space sector is currently valued at around $8 billion and is projected to grow to $44 billion by 2033, according to the head of INSPACe. INSPACe, the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre, plays a central role in facilitating and regulating private participation in the country's space industry.
