93 Workers Missing in Nepal Tunnel After Bhote Koshi River Flooding

Ninety-three workers have gone missing inside a tunnel at Rasuwagadhi, Nepal, following flooding in the Bhote Koshi river. Authorities feared the workers may have been stranded at the far end of the tunnel after rising waters cut off access. A multi-agency rescue operation was launched involving Nepali Army personnel, engineers, and a specialized drone team. Thermal drones were deployed to detect any signs of life inside the tunnel but returned no findings. The search and rescue effort is ongoing as concerns grow for the missing workers' safety.

8 Assamese Workers Rescued from Nepal Border, 5 Still Missing

Eight Assamese workers have been safely returned to Assam after being rescued from the Nepal border region near Bagdogra in North Bengal. The Assam Police coordinated and carried out the rescue operation to bring the workers back home. The workers had been stranded in the area following flooding in Nepal. However, five other Assamese workers from the same group remain unaccounted for and are still missing.
