Passenger Duct-Taped to Seat After Attack and Racial Abuse on Dallas-Newark Flight

An American Airlines flight from Dallas to Newark was forced to make an unscheduled stop in Baltimore after a passenger became violent mid-flight. The disruptive individual allegedly attacked a fellow traveler and hurled racial slurs at a flight attendant. Retired law enforcement officer Juan Mejia, along with a flight attendant, intervened to restrain the passenger. The individual was secured to their seat using zip ties and duct tape to ensure the safety of others on board.
