x402 Tutorial: Pay-Per-Call APIs for AI Agents, No API Key Required Every API your agent uses usually starts the same way: make an account, verify an email, pick a plan, copy a key into an environment variable, and hope nobody commits it. That's tolerable for one service. It falls apart once an agent wants to pick its own tools at runtime, because the agent can't sign up for things. x402 removes that step. The server answers an unpaid request with HTTP 402 Payment Required and a machine-readable price.

If you're building a game, character generator, username tool, writing app, or simply working with Japanese names, you may eventually need structured Japanese name data. A Japanese name isn't just a romanized word. The kanji can carry an important part of the name's meaning, and the same reading can sometimes have different kanji representations. I recently organized Japanese name data with the name, kanji, reading, gender, and meaning so it can be used more easily in software projects. Here are 30 examples from the Japanese name collection.
