Ozil Goal AI Turns a Single Portrait Into a Football Goal Video

A developer has launched Ozil Goal AI, a web tool that generates a short football clip from one uploaded portrait, modeled on Mesut Özil's goal against Ludogorets. Users choose from four kits or keep their own clothing, pay a one-time fee starting at $12.99, and receive a 15-second vertical 720p MP4 by email via a private order link. The site runs on TanStack Start, React, and Cloudflare Workers, using an existing third-party video model. Playable example videos are shown on the homepage so visitors can judge output quality before paying. The creator states the project is independent and not affiliated with Özil or any club.

Sorting Polar policies before choosing an Oso alternative

Oso Cloud has been acquired by Tiny, with the deal closing on October 1, and Oso says the Cloud service will keep running as normal. Most of the Oso team has moved over to Temporal. The author, writing from the marketing team at Permit, stresses that the announcement does not force any team to migrate immediately. Teams weighing a move should export their Polar policies and categorize each rule as RBAC, ReBAC, or ABAC before comparing vendors, and should also account for list filtering separately. The piece recommends running old and new systems in parallel and logging disagreements until none remain before cutting over.

Receipt Sorter: an offline bookkeeping tool for freelancers using a local vision model

A developer built Receipt Sorter, a command-line tool that turns folders of receipts and invoices, including PDFs and phone photos, into renamed files, an accountant-ready CSV, and a category summary. It runs entirely on the user's laptop using Qwen2.5-VL 7B served through Ollama, so client documents never go to a cloud service. The target users are freelancers, consultants and small agencies who want to avoid tedious sorting and avoid uploading financial records to third parties. The tool validates extracted amounts, dates and categories, and routes uncertain documents to a review folder. In the author's test, a deliberately blurry receipt was misread with high confidence, which the author flagged as a key limitation for bookkeeping use.

Human Review Layers for Validating AI-Generated Financial Models

An AI system can generate a financial spreadsheet that looks correct and gives coherent results while still embedding wrong assumptions, which makes such errors hard to spot. The article argues that spreadsheet quality has several dimensions, including syntax, semantics, input references, and source support, each requiring different controls. It recommends separating interpretation, calculation, validation, and professional approval so each can be tested on its own. The proposed architecture is presented as an educational pattern rather than a description of any specific product. It distinguishes inputs, assumptions, evidence, model outputs, and professional decisions, and routes AI-extracted values through human approval before a deterministic calculation engine and independent checks.
