Oxford Museum to Repatriate 39 Colonial-Era Human Remains to Naga People

Oxford University's Pitt Rivers Museum has confirmed plans to return 39 colonial-era human remains to the Naga people. The decision follows the university's approval of a restitution request submitted by the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR). The museum is currently preparing for the repatriation process. The institution holds the world's largest collection of Naga artefacts, making this a significant step in addressing colonial-era acquisitions.
