NTA Warns of Criminal Action Over Fake, AI-Generated NEET-UG OMR Sheets

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a stern warning against the submission of fake or AI-generated OMR sheets in connection with NEET-UG result grievances. Several doctored documents were identified among complaints filed by candidates challenging their results following a recent retest. Candidates found submitting digitally altered OMR sheets face serious consequences, including result cancellation and debarment from future exams. The NTA is currently scrutinising all grievance complaints and has pledged corrective action where genuine discrepancies are found. The agency stated that fabricated documents appear to be a deliberate attempt to misrepresent poor performance as an examination irregularity.
