Ram Temple Trust Overhauls Donation Counting System After Theft Probe

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has introduced a revamped cash-counting system operating in two shifts to manage temple donations. The new process is being supervised by the State Bank of India to ensure greater accountability. A fresh in-charge has been appointed to oversee the operations after the previous official was arrested and jailed. The changes follow an investigation into alleged theft of donation funds at the temple. Authorities have so far arrested eight individuals and recovered substantial amounts of cash and valuables in connection with the case.
