Retail Inflation Rises to 4.45% in July, Stays Above RBI Target Second Month

India's retail inflation climbed to 4.45% in July 2026, exceeding the Reserve Bank of India's target for the second consecutive month. Government suspends Table Tennis federation recognition over governance failures

The Indian government has suspended the recognition of the Table Tennis Federation of India due to governance-related concerns.
