Nayara Energy cuts petrol by Rs 5, diesel by Rs 3 per litre across India

Nayara Energy, India's largest private fuel retailer, has reduced petrol prices by Rs 5 per litre and diesel by Rs 3 per litre across the country. This is the first price cut by any fuel retailer in more than two years. The reduction comes on the back of easing tensions in the Middle East and a decline in international crude oil prices. While Nayara passed on the savings to consumers, state-owned fuel companies chose to keep their prices unchanged.
