Iran has invited several Indian opposition leaders, including Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Salman Khurshid, and Pawan Khera, to attend the funeral of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. However, the Indian government has chosen Bihar Governor Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd) and Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita as its official representatives.
