US becomes India's top LPG supplier in July as Gulf shipments fall amid Hormuz tensions

The United States has emerged as India's largest LPG supplier in July 2025, accounting for 73% of India's LPG imports, up sharply from just 12% in January. UAE, which had supplied 826,000 tonnes in January, saw its exports to India fall significantly, while Kuwait's shipments dropped 43% from June to just 33,000 tonnes.
