Maphaka confident to lead South Africa pace attack in Rabada's absence

Young South African fast bowler Kwena Maphaka has expressed confidence in his ability to step up as a lead pacer for the Proteas. Maphaka pointed to his prior experience leading bowling attacks at multiple levels, including with the Lions franchise and the South Africa under-19 side. The 20-year-old also noted that he has spent enough time in the senior Proteas setup to feel prepared for the added responsibility. His readiness comes as South Africa face the prospect of managing without their premier fast bowler Kagiso Rabada.
