Maharashtra Tribal Hostel Loses Licence After Snake Bites Kill 3 Girls

A tribal school hostel in Japtalai village, located around 10 km from Dhanora taluka in Maharashtra, lost its operating licence following a deadly snakebite incident. Six girls were bitten by a venomous snake while sleeping on the hostel floor late Sunday night. Three of the six students died as a result of the bites. The authorities revoked the school's licence in response to the fatal incident at the residential facility.
