Lt General Rajesh Pushkar Assumes Command of Indian Army's Southern Command

Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar has taken charge as the new Chief of the Indian Army's Southern Command. He succeeds Lieutenant General Sandeep Jain in this role. Jain has moved on to assume the position of Vice Chief of the Army Staff. The transition was confirmed through an official defence release.
